Where you'll be

We going to be in chemuyil town, a very small local place inhabited by mayan people where you will be very welcome. Join me and explore the cenotes and the sea turtles sanctuary of this community (the cenotes and beach we visit are not commercial places it is where the locals we go).

What an amazing excursion! All the communication prior to the trip was great. This trip is a bit off the beaten path and worth all the extra effort. The 2 guides went above and beyond to make sure my 8 and 11 year old were safe and having fun exploring the cenotes, caves, and riding bikes. The guides truly love their job and the area. I have a traveled a lot, and this is one of the best day trips I have ever taken. Find a way to make this part of your stay in Playa del Carmen!

I highly recommend this experience!! The cenotes were pure magic! We had a wonderful day biking through a beautiful town and the jungle, as a not so experienced cyclist I felt totally comfortable the entire route. Didier went the extra mile giving us lots of history about the cenotes and the Mayan culture, he even brought us all water and a snack and had bug spray just in case! We can’t wait to go on another experience with him on our next trip back to tulum!

Wonderful local tour! You see the cenotes in a small town away from masses of tourists. Really calm and fun, biking between local attractions. Water was cool, but refreshing in November. Beautiful experience. We grabbed the collectivo to Tulum ruins after we finished. Didier will also explain local history and religion. He is very nice, and his little sidekick David was lovely too. Gave us bananas, water, snorkle gear, and bikes to get around. My best day in Mexico so far! Also, shady so you don’t get too burned. Glad we had a gps on our phone to help us get to pizza Leo in Chemuyil (between playa and Tulum.) Don’t hesitate, just book it. You’ll love it!
