What you'll do

Ciao! My name is Marco and I am excited to take you throughout the most famous towns in Tuscany: Siena, San Gimignano and Pisa! Being from Tuscany, I understand the most important and fascinating places for tourists to visit :)

Siena is one of my favorite places in Italy! The historical center is filled with unique architecture and local shops. The Siena Cathedral is also a must-see: it was decorated by famous artists including Donatello, Bernini, and Michelangelo. You will have free time to explore on your own!

After Siena, we will head to a nearby vineyard on the way to San Gimignano. This secret, local spot is one of my favorite wineries, and I am happy to share the experience with you! You will be served some Tuscan appetizers, pasta, and dessert accompanied with wine!

Then, I will bring you to the hilltop town of San Gimignano which is extremely picturesque. Enjoy some free time exploring the streets and discovering the the lovely viewpoints above the Tuscan countryside.

Finally, we will go to Pisa, a must see for anyone visiting Italy! The Leaning Tower is truly exceptional to see in person. You should not miss to take funny pictures trying to hold it up! :) Enjoy free time to walk around and explore the other religious sites of Piazza dei Miracoli before heading back to Florence.

Where you'll be

Siena: built upon hills, is likely Italy's loveliest medieval city whose historic centre is listed as UNESCO World Heritage site.

San Gimignano: the little Manhattan of the Middle Ages. The numerous medieval towers form an unforgettable skyline and offer an impressive view of the city from the surrounding valley.

Pisa: Its beautiful Piazza dei Miracoli will take your breath away. Don't miss to take a funny photo holding up the leaning tower!

Honestly a good choice if you’re wanting to see the sights on a budget. The Freetime is small but that’s to be expected. It’s much better to see all the necessary points of interest on this tour rather than wasting money on train tickets to these place. Each destination is beautiful but is best to do altogether. The lunch was also pretty great.

We loved doing this because we felt like we could knock out a lot of the places we wanted to go outside of Florence in one day. For the most part though you are paying to be driven and dropped off at these locations. In Siena, some groups signed up for a tour, but we did not and just explored the area on our own. We then went to the winery for lunch and they gave us three wines to taste and a dessert wine after. The food was pretty good but nothing special. In San Gimignano, we were told some interesting facts and stuff about the area and then were all dropped off to explore the town. Then, we were taken to Pisa (the only thing there truly is the leaning tower). The guide told us some interesting facts about Pisa upon arrival, but we were given a little under an hour to take pictures and look around. The bus was very comfortable and it was nice being able to leave souvenirs on the bus when we went to other locations. It was definitely worth the money if you have not explored these areas before.

My friends and I had an amazing experience. Although the weather wasn’t on our side the day of our tour, we still enjoyed each stop. We highly recommend wearing comfortable shoes. Overall, we recommend booking this tour.

Good tour but they put too much into one day. Long bus rides with no stops for the bathroom. Not enough time to explore all locations.
