What you'll do
I offer engaging and peaceful trail rides through the enchantingly beautiful forests just outside of Asheville, NC. At the barn, I will have snacks and sparkling water (alcohol only offered on the weekends). I offer mindful trail rides, focusing on breath, posture, and fun! I can accommodate beginner to advanced riders. I offer a holistic barn that places safety first for both horses and humans. The rides that start at 11 am, weekly, are for riders of varied abilities, booking 4 riders at a time. If you are an experienced rider please book the rides on Saturday and Sunday mornings at 8 am (there is a price difference and the rides are usually limited to two riders). More riders can be booked upon request. The weekly rides are two hours from start to finish, with about 90 minutes in the saddle, advanced rides are longer. We begin the experience by meeting our horses, leading them to the trail which offers you time to connect and establish leadership with your horse before riding them. This is an active experience and physically demanding at times. My weight limit for riding is 250 but you do need to be able to mount a horse without a mounting block.

I remember falling in love with horses at the age of 3. Growing up I would take riding lessons whenever I could, spent most of my time dreaming of horses, reading about horses, talking about horses; begging for a horse. As a teenager I finally had my own horse! My most treasured memories of this age are of riding through forest and field. Before college I worked for Teton National Park leading guided trail rides. Five years ago I created my career combining my passions for the outdoors, horses, travel, people, children and animals. I still ride, dream and talk about horses and beg for more.
