What you'll do

We'll climb up the face of a cliff in Estes Park, Colorado, then set up our campsite in the sky.

The adventure begins with a two-thirds of a mile uphill hike to the base of a cliff. There, we'll gear up and begin our climb to the campsite. Alternatively, you can hike up to the top and rappel down to the site.

After building and settling into our vertical home, we'll eat dinner and sleep in our sky tent for the night. The next day, we’ll rappel down and return back to life on the ground.

What a thoroughly enchanting and whimsical way to spend an evening. Perched precariously (but safely) from a shear cliff edge. Fraternizing with the mountain air bathed in moonlight. With a smattering of stars to instigate the imagination all the livelong night. A downright singular all-around experience.

Wow what a magical one in a lifetime experience! I don’t usually do camping but I have no regret about this! We did a via Ferrata followed by some rock climbing before rappelling down to the cliff camp around 6pm. Our guide Nick was wonderful and made us fell sage all the way! The food was great, plenty of snacks and drinks. We didn’t have backpacks or sleeping bags and they were able to lend some to us. I would recommend this experience to everyone even if you don’t have experience climbing.

What an incredible experience for my husband and I!! Our guide Nick was brilliant! The trip was tailored to us, we did via ferrata and rock climbing as well as the cliff camp. I personally had no experience rock climbing but managed both routes with guidance from Nick below. A truly full and exhilarating 24hrs. Safety was top notch, Nick was very focused on this and he worked so hard for us but was always jovial and upbeat. Would definitely recommend!! Couldn’t of had a better time!!

This was an awesome, one of a kind experience. For anyone looking for a unique adventure to get out of your comfort zone I would highly recommend checking this out. I didn’t have any prior climbing experience but was able to navigate across the Via Feratta and learned how to rappel on a smaller mountain face before descending to the portaledge. I would just recommend being in decent shape because it’s a full day of hiking and climbing at elevation. Once you get settled on your ledge just lay back and take in the breathtaking views.

Went in with high expectations for such a cool trip, and I was nonetheless blow away! Eric was the perfect guide and climbing/camping buddy. From being flexible with scheduling to cooking a steak dinner on the rockface, this was a first-class experience all the way!
