I am a solo traveler from The Netherlands spending my holiday in beautiful South Africa. I wanted to visit a township but was not so keen on joining a tour. The experience offered by Ayanda and Buntu was for me a perfect alternative to experience the energy of Khayelisha from the insight out. Being on my own gave me some concerns about safety and on how to get there. I reached out to them and they were very patient and answered all my questions. It was no problem that in this case I was the only attendant. On both of the days they where waiting for me giving me a warm welcome, all the concerns that I had (or others had!) disappeared right await. It was in one word great! The guys showed me all the positive initiatives without losing sight of the challenges. I was very impressed by the passion of the two friends putting in a lot of time and effort in training and coaching the kids. I felt very welcome and part of the team. I am so happy that I found there project and had the change to spend two days full of activity in Khayelisha. I learned so much, it was the highlight of a holiday packed with highlights, an experience I will for sure never forget.

We had the best experience with Ayanda and Buntu in Khayelitsha. This experience is perfect for anyone who loves and appreciates the importance of sports in the lives of young kids. Khayelitsha is the 2nd largest township in Cape Town and is an area that is largely inaccessible to traditional travelers — but with Ayanda and Buntu (as well as their fantastic friends) you will have a first hand guide through the township, while running, eating, and playing basketball or soccer with the amazing kids. This experience was a highlight of our trip to South Africa. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Our favourite parts of the trip were the run up to the Lookout Point and playing hand ball with the school kids. We are Capetonians but neither of us had seen this side of Cape Town. It was so interesting and exciting to be immersed in a completely different culture. Ayanda and Buntu are incredible members of their community. They do so much through the power of Sport. Playing the games with the kids reminded us about how important sport is in ones personal development. Sport was something that was easily accessible to us at school but for these children it's a gift and Buntu and Ayanda provide it. I highly recommend their trip!
