What you'll do

You will visit a company in balance between tradition and innovation. Through the history of my family, I will accompany you to discover every corner of the cellar from where the wine is born until it is packaged and shipped to over 60 countries. The latest generation machines will be explained and if possible seen in operation. Our cellar obtains the Casa Clima Wine certification, we limit the impact on the environment and this philosophy will be the protagonist throughout the course of our visit. At the end of the tour, a guided tasting of three wines will end the visit. Finally I will be happy to host you for a lunch at the family premises, La Fenice or La Lugana Trattoria based on availability, on the shore of Lake Garda just 2km from the company. A magical place where you can relax between the sound of the lake waves and the fantastic view of the peninsula with its castle. You will have lunch with a single dish "The Amarone in the plate": risotto with Amarone creamed with Monteveronese cheese and beef carpaccio with Amarone and Grana flakes, with a taste of Amarone Ca 'dei Frati Pietro Dal Cero. I have a degree in letters, I love to tell my reality.
Other things to note
There are no means of transport for moving from the company to the dining room. Each customer must independently move.

I was born into a family that loves the area and has been in the world of wine for years. I am part not only of a family, but of a historical reality that since 1939 has started producing Lugana wines, taking care of its Doc for generations. I am Wset 2 certified and since June 2019 I am an AIS sommelier. I take my free time in cultural promotion activities and its excellences. I have a degree in classical literature; I am finishing my master's degree in art history and I have obtained a master's degree with the Sole24ore of management of wineries; I like to accompany my guests on a curious and delicious visit, explaining the tasting techniques and guiding their palate to discover the products of my family.

I loved this tour, it was such a cool way to learn (and taste) regional wines and connect with a family that has been doing this for generations. We got the see the actual bottling process that only happens a few times a year, and the offsite lunch location has a stunning view of the lake. An excellent tour and tasting, I would definitely do something like this again!

A thoroughly enjoyable experience from start to finish. Maria Chiara is a knowledgeable, gracious & affable host who willingly shares her family history, love of wine & winemaking and caring for and preserving the very glorious surroundings. We learnt many new things about the wine creation process. The location is stunning & the obvious care that has gone into creating such a beautiful but still functional wine manufacturing space is a delight, with many features added in reference to the history of winemaking / monastery on the site 700 years ago. The family restaurant where we had lunch, La Fenice was a delight, the staff were very attentive and the food divine, with them catering especially for my request of no meat without any bother. Last but certainly not least, the wines !!!! This vineyard creates some truly wonderful wines, we tasted the Lugana, the Pratto, Brolettino, the Ronchedone, valpolicella, the amarone, the Sparkling Rose and the grappa 🤪 all splendid in their own unique ways. I’m running out of superlatives now but absolutely recommend this as 4 hours of total enjoyment and will definitely return.
