I was extremely excited at the thought of able to climb a Coastal Douglas Fir because, being from Nebraska, we'd probably not get the chance again. Frank was not. Neither of us are the biggest fan of heights but he agreed to do it with me anyway. There were introductions upon arrival, we were fitted for our equipment, and after a demonstration and explanation of what we'd be doing and how the equipment was designed to keep us safe, we got to practice! Then, we split into two groups and set off in the direction of two different trees. Ours had a view of Deception Pass. We felt safe and relatively confident in our abilities. Help was always just a shout away and we both made it to the top! All of the hard work and the view made this one of the best things we've ever done. I would do this experience again and again if I could!

We had a great time climbing in the morning. Rilen was an amazing guide with lots of energy and lots of fun conversation. I could not have asked for a better experience!

Awesome experience climbing 250 feet up into a 400 plus year old tree! I felt safe and secure, and the views were amazing. Our guide was friendly, patient, and extremely good at tree climbing!

Tree climbing was more fun that we thought. Would definitely try again! The equipment was well maintained and we felt like we were always safe/ in good hands.

This was such an excellent experience! I can't say enough how great these guys are. I ended up working with Leo to schedule my tree climb after some self-induced, unforeseen circumstances got in the way of the experience I originally booked (I'll blame it on the blonde hair). Not only was Leo willing to work with me to find a time that I could make it work, but he encouraged me to do it when I was ready to just call it a lost cause. It's such a treat to experience top-notch customer service when things go wrong and you're a thousand miles from home. As for the climb itself, Isaac was my instructor and he was wonderful. I appreciated how down-to-earth he is while still explaining things in a way that was super easy to follow and understand. Nothing about his demeanor seemed fake or rehearsed like it sometimes can with guides. He was patient with all of our questions and knowledgeable about the area. He even took time to give directions to various visitors of the park, and recommendations for the best pie on the island. This was the best part of my trip to Washington State. Do it!

Never knew this was a thing. Now that I do, I’m ruined because I want to do this every day of my life. Great experience, you’ll never want it to end.
