SO, YOU WANT TO SEE THE HOLLYWOOD SIGN...Well, my dog, Ziggy & I can not only see it from EVERY room in our house -- we live so close to it, we've hiked to, above & around it under EVERY conceivable condition. Bottled Water Hiking uphill has been known to cause thirst.

Tickets

Pictures: I LOVE photographing people: taking group photos, posing couples and families like they're the cast of a hit TV show and just generally proving that EVERYONE (even you) can be photogenic. I take 100s of photos every night, which guests receive (via a link) @ no additional charge.

Transportation

Parking, wi-fi, etc. With my house as base camp, drivers will have parking and ride sharers not only won't have to carry their purses to the top (because you can store your stuff at my house), you'll be able to use my wi-fi to summon your ride home. (Note: cell signals are rare in the hills.)

Equipment

Flashlights These -- plus Ziggy, our fearless canine companion -- will help us find our way back in the dark.

What to bring

Jacket/Sweatshirt (It can get cold after dark)

Good walking/hiking shoes (No flip flops)

Food (Optional) We'll have time to eat at the top.

Where you'll be

Base camp is my house, just below the Hollywood Sign. From there we will hike to the top of Mt. Lee. (The hill the Hollywood Sign is on.) 2 miles uphill + 2 miles downhill = 4 miles. The path is mostly paved and rarely steeper than 20 degrees. We go slow and stop every 200-300 yards on the way to the top. During our hike you will see Hollywoodland, parts of Griffith Park, the sign and a 360 degree view of LA from above at night.
