Hi, my name is Anthony. I am 52 and a lifelong resident who was born and raised in Boston’s “Little Italy” . The son of Italian immigrants who migrated to Boston’s North End neighborhood in the 1960’s, Growing up in the North End was very different back then. I will take you back with stories from the days when mothers leaned out their window sills and yelled for their kids. Grew up in the restaurant business from a busboy to owning my own restaurant .So I know food and have the inside track to guiding you to the best spots. I also speak Italian which is key to really know the inside scoops!! When I started this tour my main reason was that I felt the consumer was getting ripped off at the authentic experience of this great neighborhood by taking a tour that the guide was not born and raised here . They aren't even from here now.

Where you'll be
The tour visits many food and historical spots but end of tour we actually finish off by having lunch at mama's house and this isn't name of some restaurant, its actually my mother's house so you know mama or better known as nonna (grandma) will host you for lunch feeding you a plate of wonderful pasta bolognase , pizza and pastries that we pick up along the tour . We also will have sampled plenty as we walk so come hungry plenty of food.

Amazing experience. The tour guide was born and raised in Boston so he had so much background knowledge of the town history and the food industry. He knew lots of people and had good relationships with the places we toured. I felt safe and welcomed...and my belly was very satisfied. Great locations. Great food. Great value.

Anthony's tour was such a special & fun experience! Having grown up in the neighborhood uniquely qualifies him to give a tour of all the hidden gems of his neighborhood. The food was fantastic, the personal stories were even better. His mama's pasta & cannoli's were the cherry on top! HIGHLY recommend this tour!!
