What you'll do

!!!All of my tour is outside so we can less worry about Covid.

Kadıköy is the name of the neighborhood of the district, a residential and commercial area that, with its numerous bars, cinemas and bookshops, is the cultural and art center of the Asian side of Istanbul. Also, there are lots of biking and walking options. You can walk everywhere around Kadıköy. Also you can taste best Turkish cuisine and street food with lots of restaurants.

We will meet in Kadıköy and will be using Nostalgic Tram to see around. We will be tasting great street foods (mussel dolma, fried mussel, kokoreç, Turkish beer) in Kadıköy open bazaar where locals eat and shopping (optional). Then I will show you murals, hidden cafes, bars, antique flea market, historical neighbourhoods and local life by walking. I am a sociologist so I can inform you about Turkish people and society. I am interested in photography so I will show you the best spots for photography in Kadıköy. Hope you will like the tour and feel like local :) See you

**Please contact me for your available dates for this tour and I arrange it!
**In Turkey, street food is mainly red meat or sea food so if you are vegeterian we will buy vegeterian food from kadıköy bazaar for you and you can eat it in the street food restaurant.

We had a great time with Irem walking around the "Asian" side of Istanbul. She is an excellent host and communicator. You feel as if you're walking around the neighborhood with a long friend.

Had an amazing experience with Irem. this was my first time on the asain side of Istanbul. Meeting up with her was very easy. She walked me around the area, showed me how to use the tram and buy the ticket for public transportation. We went to the best food spots and had delicious turkish coffee. The whole experience felt as if I was traveling with a friend. I highly recommend her for anyone looking to see kadikoy for their first time.

What a lovely host Irem is!! She was so thoughtful to direct us to the ferry station also accommodated us for meeting up a bit later. There was 4 of us so we had private tour !! We all learned so much and loved the Anatolian side so much ! We wish we had this tour on the first day instead of the last day!! The bazaar Sh took us had much better prices than the grand bazaar!! Wish I knew! The food was amazing! The information was great. She is so warm and lovely that we all loved her ❤️

If it's your first time in Istanbul, I would highly recommend a walking tour with Irem. We loved it!!! P.s. Am a vegetarian, and there are plenty of vegetarian options on this tour.

It was generally a good tour, but I do not recommend for vegetarians. My tour ended up being an entire hour short because I did not do the (meat) samplings. I didn’t realize that was such a big part of the tour. There could have easily been a replacement of vegetarian options, especially since I was the only one on the tour.
