What you'll do

Goat Yoga is a casual and gentle yoga class, with goats! The goats roam around, cuddle, and play, while in your yoga poses. Our class is perfect for newbies, pro yogi's, and everyone in between! It is fun, stress-relieving, and often times just quite silly! We hold the class in the backyard of our historic home where the goats graze and it is a beautiful setting under the trees. We think this combination is perfect for making you smile all while calming your soul.
The class will be about 45 minutes of yoga with our professional yoga instructor, Joe, who will guide you through the poses accompanied by the goats! Yoga will then be followed by Goat Happy Hour.
Goat Happy Hour is extra time for you to spend with the animals and other class takers to take pictures, enjoy a drink (BYOB if you wish), or purchase any of the farm goods we make and sell here at our mini-farm.
Our classes average 20-30 people. Our historic home and mini-farm are located in the Heart of Summerville and we are 15 minutes to beautiful Plantations, 25 minutes to downtown Charleston, and 15 minutes to the Charleston airport. We also host our guest rooms at our historic home with Airbnb, so come stay with us and walk right out the back door to take the class and have unlimited goat snuggles! We can also hold private sessions, just message us!

Aloha Y'all! My name is Jenna, and my husband, Chris, & I were born & raised in Hawaii. We made our dream come true when we moved to the South & purchased our historic home. We have an 1870's colonial farmhouse that we have been fixing up for almost 5 years, which is how our business, Flowertown Charm, was born. What started as a blog sharing our DIY & home renovations, expanded to our mini-farm, furniture painting, hosting 2 guest rooms with Airbnb, selling homemade farm goods on Etsy, & now goat yoga!
Our farm has 5 adorable dwarf goats, silly chickens, barn cats, honey bees, & dogs! We have partnered with our friend Yoga with Joe to create this fun Goat Yoga Class, & we were the first to bring goat yoga to the Charleston area!
We frequently are sold out, so book early!
Also, find us social media for more!

Be prepared for overly friendly goats and try your best at an intermediate level yoga class (No shame for just petting goats though). Bring your wallet for extra items including shirts, goat milk, and be prepared to meet all sorts of animals.

This is an experience unlike no other. The goats are so friendly, I didn’t realize they are so sociable!!! Jennifer was very welcoming and helpful. The yoga was perfect for beginners and very laid back. The goats even jumped on my back! I would 100% recommend this experience.

We can't wait to go back and hang out with the friendly goats and chickens again! Our babysitter was sick at last moment, and the hosts were so accommodating that we brought our 19 month old son. He had as much fun as we did and even loved the yoga also. What friendly hosts and a beautiful experience!

It's impossible to not smile when you are surrounded by cute farm animals and doing yoga. It is a ton of fun. Considering going back at some point.

More tips

These are goats, so they do have poop and like to nibble on things! But the poop can be shaken right off your mat, and you simply move what you do not want chewed on.
