What you'll do

Wild food experience.
Foraging is so much more than collecting ‘edible weeds’. For me it’s a journey. The journey that takes us into the wild to help us being better version of ourselves. The journey through the woods, meadows or along the sea shore. At the end of each journey there will be a meal that fills your belly, comfort your mind and nourish your soul.
I’ll guide you through the plants, explain medicinal usage, some history and most importantly what can make the way to your table.

My name is Joanna and I’ve been foraging since I can remember. My foraging adventure started in early childhood, while growing up in the unspoilt, mountainous area, the nature's pantry was exposed just on my doorstep. I love discovering the taste that each new season brings and experimenting with new recipes. I’ve been sharing my passion through foraging activities that I run for children and adults. I lead walks, run events and deliver tailored “forage and feast” courses or foraging workshops on native plants and fungi that can be found in Devon and Cornwall. As a qualified nutritionist I have a genuine passion for finding health benefits that plants, fungi or algae have.

it’s a fantastic opportunity to explore ‘nature’s pantry’ and learn about wild edible plants. We’ll go through foragers’ etiquette and venture around to harvest wild vegetables, mushrooms or fruit, so we can cook a delicious meal.
