Great tour with original places and stories. Adam has lots of personal stories linked to the communist Era. At the end he helped me to take a cab.

The tour was just great. Daniel had extensive knowledge and was a very good host. I also had the special honour that by chance Gabor Demszky (Mayor of Budapest - 1990-2010) also took part in the tour. I can hardly imagine a better contemporary witness. Daniel and Gabor played very well together and I had a unique experience with a lot of stories that you can't read in any history book. Great experience and I recommend every visitor of Budapest to join the tour - it is worth every cent. One of the best history tours I've ever joined! Thanks a lot! :)

We are so glad we took the time on our short trip to Budapest to go on Daniel's tour. He had a lot of specific knowledge on the city, and the country's political and social history, weaving in personal and family anecdotes which gave the city and sites a whole new meaning. If you are interested in history and moving beyond more superficial tour info, then this is the tour for you.

I felt that Daniel was very passionate about the theme and we were lucky enough to be the only two on the trip, so we had a lot of time to get to know the personal stories of his family and their life under communism. All in all a great experience with a passionate and friendly guide.
