Ira was squared away from head to toe. He was waiting for us prior to the meetup time. He had digital headphones for each of the people in the tour and a mic on his collar. This came in handy for a hard of hearing member of our group. Ira had plenty of excellent info about the start of Boston all the way leading up to now. He also had plenty of “filler” info for when we were stopped at a light for an extended period of time. He gave us plenty of time to take pictures. This was a long walk, so keep that in mind for older people in your group or people with minor disabilities. He has a great voice, easy to listen to, very articulate, intelligent, has an iPad to assist in his presentation with old photos of the areas he’s taking you to so you can see what it used to look like and what it looks like now. I would 10/10 recommend this tour to anyone interested in a walking tour with a great guide.
