Ever since I can remember, I’ve been obsessed with the Victorian era. I have a larger closet of period clothing than contemporary. Most of my dresses are custom-made in France. I also have many dresses from other eras - 1700s (as in Marie Antoinette), Civil War era (big hoop skirts) and Edwardian Era (i.e. Titanic). Just tell me what era you're interested in, and I will do my best to make your time-traveling dreams come true.

If you are the kind of person who likes to know every detail imaginable for an experience, this one is not for you. Live a little, be surprised...and please be considerate of both of our time. I’ll answer 3 questions. Hey, what can I say, I’m an artist, hence capricious. :))

This was a beyond fantastic experience, I simply cannot rave about this enough. It was an absolute blast, Nico was incredibly knowledgeable about the Victorian era and was such an engaging host. The entire event from beginning to end was perfectly tailored and was something truly to remember. The setting was pristine and the tea was almost as good as the great conversations. I will definitely be doing this again with friends

SO MUCH FUN. Was in Colorado for a girls weekend and this was definitely the highlight of our trip! The dresses were absolutely beautiful and well made, the Brown Palace was amazing and the icing on the cake was Nico herself! She was so knowledgeable about the Victorian era and her personality added to the fun! I Highly recommend!!!

My daughters, best friend and I were transported into a different world. The knowledge and expertise Nico has of the Victorian era and its fashions is unparalleled. We had a wonderful time taking high tea at the Brown Palace. Would definitely recommend it for others. Thank you Nico.

This was such a fun experience and I hope to do it again with friends or family! Nico is a very awesome and entertaining host. Her knowledge about the Victorian era and the clothing pieces that go with it is top notch! Her clothing selection is lovely and extremely high quality. I felt stunning in the dress I picked and channeled my inner lady! ☺️The venue does not disappoint with lavish architecture and vast selection of tea/snacks. If you love the Victorian era fashion or just a history buff, you’ll love this experience. Party like it’s 1889! ❤️ To have the best experience, go with an open heart and up to anything attitude and you’ll have a blast.

Let me save you some time... YES, YOU SHOULD DO THIS! When my wife told me about this experience, I had my reservations and I wasn't sure that this experience was going to be for me. But I put on my best face and went into it with an open mind. When we arrived at Nico's I still wasn't sure what to expect. As we went down to the basement, I was shocked by the amount of dresses, jackets, parasols, hats, hair pieces, canes etc. that Nico has collected. (She even mentioned that everything we saw wasn't even all of what she owned) Let's be clear: Nico is a woman who has spent YEARS collecting (and creating!) many dresses, and has dedicated just as much time collecting any Victorian accessory you can name. She is a well of knowledge on the Victorian era and at the end of the day, you will not only look pretty, but you will be far more versed in Victorian history. Once my wife's dress was chosen, Nico described the exact decade the dress was from and was able to provide a suit for me that matched the time as well. She was even able to tell me about the most popular facial hair styles along with hair cuts/parts that were popular for men during that decade. But getting dressed was just the beginning- We then did a small photoshoot in Nico's basement with some appropriate furniture and poses that came out great. Though Nico will tell you she's not a professional photographer, she took some amazing pictures! As we walked from our vehicle to Brown Palace, everyone stopped to take notice. (It's not everyday you see people dressed to the nines walking through downtown) It became very clear how passionate Nico was when we were greeted by the staff at Brown Palace. Nico was on first name basis with nearly everyone, who all looked pleased for her to arrive. Nico provided a ton of information about the palace, as we walked through a number of spots that were used as backdrops for perfect photo opportunities. As it became time to sit and eat/drink, we were blown away by the presentation and quality of everything. We chatted with Nico for a long while without a single dull moment. For a day that started with hesitation, I found myself not wanting it to end! It's hard to put in to words how amazing this experience was. I would recommend it to anyone!

This is by far the best Airbnb experience that my husband and I have done! Nico is incredible, and the amount of time she's spent creating beautiful dresses and learning about the period can't be matched. It was such a fun day getting dressed up, having our pictures taken, chatting with Nico, and enjoying a lovely tea at the Brown Palace. And while at first we'd debated due to price, it was by far worth it. For how much time Nico spends on creating this experience before you ever arrive, it's an incredible deal :) We recommend this experience to everyone. It was fun as a couple, would be great as a family, and would also be an awesome way to spend a day when you're exploring Denver solo. Can't recommend it enough!
