What you'll do

If you would to choose a different tour that is shorter please contact me.

The actual riding time is just under 2 hours, we stop I hour for lunch and have many breaks.

Ride modern mountain bikes along the Sussex coastline from Seaford train station along the Cuckmere River to the historic village of Alfriston or we can also take the Rathfiny Winery route out too the top of the South Downs to take in the views of the distant North Downs . Then downhill for a well deserved lunch break in the historic village of Alfriston.

After lunch we take either the Friston Forest route to see some World War 2 bomb holes located in the heart of the forest, you can choose to ride down them!! the second option is the easier route along the road to the Seaford Cliffs to view the famous Seven Sisters. Then a short ride back to Seaford train station taking in views of Seaford and the surrounding views from the top of Seaford Cliffs. Pictures are a must here.

Ride time is around 3 hrs we can do as much or little riding as you like as everyone has different levels of ability. Allow at least 5 Hrs or more for the total ride and train. Brighton to Seaford is 30 mins by train and cost £3.30 return. Bikes travel on the train.

This trip definitely lived up to our expectations from the positive reviews. Ours was not a run of the mill experience as we were surprised by extreme weather but we rolled with it and had a great laugh and an epic adventure with Olly. We will definitely be booking again (perhaps at a more reliably dry time of year!). Thanks for giving us an unforgettable pre-lockdown trip!

Had an amazing tour with Oli today! We were both complete amateurs (neither of us had even cycled on the road before), but we got the hang of it really quickly. Oli really put us at ease, which helped us get used to the bikes and start enjoying it. He was super knowledgeable and was constantly checking how we were doing and offering us alternative route options. He even took some photos and videos, which was a really nice touch. We also met Colin briefly in the morning while he was sorting our bikes out and he seemed lovely as well. The bikes themselves are brilliant and the route across the Downs is spectacular. Can’t recommend these guys enough!

Fantastic day out with Daniel, who adapted the tour to our level well and ensured we enjoyed the off road terrain even if we were total beginners on mountain bikes.

I’ve spent a wonderful time with that experience. It was my first time on an e-bike and the host adapted the trail to my level. It was easy to follow and a lot of fun to ride along the coast and into the forest. I took some nice photos of the countryside, we ate local and shared a beer and some biking stories… Looking forward to booking it again!

My boyfriend and I went mountain biking with Colin on Saturday in Brighton. It totally surpassed my expectations and was an extremely fun and novel way of exploring rural Brighton and the coastline. Despite the magnitude of mud it did not stop us from getting stuck in and Colin was keen to show us a good time. We stopped to enjoy a classic pub lunch which kept us going for the afternoon and we both felt pretty accomplished by the end of the day! This was a really good way of exploring Brighton and a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Having never done e mountain biking before it has a thrilling element which took hold through out the day. We will definitely be back in the summer for a less muddy ride!
