What you'll do

If you like Piña Colada and gettin' caught in the rain this is the experience for you!! Take the class and enjoy a Tropical ESCAPE!!

In my LIVE class, I will teach you how to make my version of the classic Piña Colada cocktail/mocktail. I will take you on a cocktail journey through the history of Piña Colada and teach you how to make my favorite snack "TOSTONES" (fried green plantain slices)
If you don't want to cook, you can buy a bag of tostones chips, and make my easy three ingredient Puerto Rican dip. Then we conclude the class with Q & A, salsa music, and lots of giggles!

Who are Puerto Ricans?
Puerto Ricans are diverse Caribbean people, and our food speaks for itself. Our combination of flavors, spices, and passion will make you want to dance and yell WEPA!

I'm a proud owner of Coqui the Chef, a social enterprise. I reinvent my Abuelita recipes and take care of my people through food. I enjoy teaching the importance of culinary culture and diversity. This stems from my love for all types of food from its history and tradition. I find that culinary experiences don't only happen in restaurants! They can happen anywhere.

What a fun class! Everything tasted delicious and Tania's tips made it all surprisingly easy to make, too. We will definitely be making tostones and pina coladas again. We highly recommend this class and hope to take other classes with Tania in the future!

Tania was a lovely host. She made everything simple to make at home. Her explanation was very clear. I didn’t cook along in this experience but I wish I did. Other guests’ piña colada and tostones looked so delicious.
