What you'll do

Join me for an intimate sea kayaking tour in the incredible Jervis Bay Marine Park! An outdoor experience like no other, you'll have the opportunity to paddle to some of Australia's most beautiful beaches with the whitest sand in the world! There is always a chance of encounters with local wildlife like seals, dolphins, sea birds and whales at the right time of year.

We meet in the morning at 7:45am to get fitted into the appropriate sea kayak and briefing on safety procedures, equipment and the area. Once on the water we will practice some paddle strokes before heading off into the stunning Jervis Bay and Booderee National Parks for a relaxing 1.5 hours. Stopping for a break on one of the most pristine beaches in the world we will provide plunger coffee, tea, cake from the local Husky bakery and fruit for morning tea. Take this opportunity to have a swim or snorkel while your guide prepares the feast. Once adequately rested we will take to the water again for another 1.5 hours to try and spot some local wildlife before returning to our start point.

Guests will leave with new skills and a great appreciation for the beauty of the area and provided photos for lasting memories of an unforgettable experience!
Other things to note

I completed my Sea Kayak Guide training in Jervis Bay in 2010 and after paddling and travelling all over the world, I ended up back where it all began for me. Jervis Bay is my favourite place I've ever visited and I'm passionate about sharing this amazing place with others so that they too can appreciate it's beauty.

The sea kayaking tour around Booderee NP was a great experience. Dane was thoroughly professional and really put my partner at ease as she was quite nervous. Great conditions on the day and the spectacular scenery around Greenpatch, Murray’s beach and Bowen Island were topped off with a visit from a pod of dolphins while we paddled. Highly recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to do another tour with Dane when we come back to Jervis Bay.

Awesome experience with an awesome instructor. Not to mention we were lucky enough to have a family of dolphins swim right up to us to say hello, it is one of those moments that we can tell the story over and over. Thanks Dane for the awesome experience!

Thank you DOLPHIN DANE for the best kayaking experience ever! Had 4 dolphins circling us close up in the first 10 mins! Lovely picnic and new friends made. Dane is very good at what he does, felt safe with him even when the water started to get a tiny bit choppy. Best experience! Must do for your next trip in Jervis Bay!

This is a great way to see more of beautiful Jervis Bay with an excellent guide. Dane was friendly and professional. I had no experience at all with kayaking and he was able to assist with all the safety equipment and explanation of techniques. He also produced as if by magic a lovely morning tea on the beach, with hot tea and coffee, juice, fresh cut up fruit and delicious cake despite having to bring it all in the kayak! There was lots of explanations of what we were seeing, and a flexible schedule to allow rests where required. A really excellent experience, well worth booking.
