What you'll do

I'll be at Argana Cafe in the Mean Squar to start your experience to Imlil. On our way you will pass through the town of Tahnaout where we can stop at an Argan Oil Co-operative and just to learn how the woman of the co-operative turn the Argan nut into many of the different Argan Oil-based products Morocco is famous for. We will then continue on through Asni where, on Saturdays or Tuesday, a traditional Berber Souk and market can be visited.

Our journey will take us past waterfalls and the hamlets of Ait Mizan, we will stop off in Imlil and have the opportunity to take in the views of ancient irrigated terrace fields of barley, corn, and vegetables, surrounded by cherry and walnut trees. I will point out things of interest and i will talk to you about the Berber culture and heritage along the way. Travel down through the village of Ait Souka and afterwards enjoy a traditional Moroccan meal in a Berber house.

Here you will have the opportunity to ride a camel on our way back via Moulay Gorges! And go back to your accommodation in Marrakech around 17:00pm.

If you go to Marrakesh you must book this ! This day was more than we expected and included visiting Atlas Mountains , a lovely home cooked meal , a mini hike to a beautiful waterfall and a trip to the desert to watch the sunset. Ibrahim was the perfect guide whole looked after the whole group very well, he was funny and had many stories to tell (personal and factual ) . We also had the chance to ride a Camel and I was happy because they treated the camels very well and did not force them to go for a ride if they did not want to . Overall an amazing experience and a great way to start your time in Marrakesh and really invest yourself into the culture.

Ibrahim shared his culture and traditions throughout the tour and was happy to answer any questions we had. It was an engaging and fun experience walking around the nature, hiking up the mountain, and eating a delicious lunch at Ibrahim’s house!

We had an excellent time on our Atlas Tour. Mustapha, Omar and Ibrahim went out of their way to make our tour experience one to remember. The knowledge of the area, customs and culture provided was very informative. The lunch that was prepared for us at Mustapha and Ibrahim’s home was awesome! This trip is 110% worth it!

This truly was an amazing day. Our tour guide was so kind and was a great communicator on our plans for the day. The van was air conditioned and very comfortable and we toured with a couple other people and it was a great intimate tour. The mountains are gorgeous and the waterfall was a packed to people on holiday so it was amazing to see how the locals use the land. The lunch we had a The family house was one of the best I had in my week in Marrakech and the house was truly amazing. I would highly recommend this to anyone who loves to be outside and hike and see nature. Absolutely do not wear sandals on this as the hiking is over sloughs if slipper rocks which would have it extremely hard to do. 10/10 would recommend this tour 😊
