What you'll do

Leaving from Charmouth beach, we will head out on a spectacular hike, taking in incredible views along the South West Coat path, exploring inland and along the beach looking for fossils on the famous Jurassic Coast. The hike involves climbing Golden Cap (highest point on the South coast) and a stop at a lovely pub with sea views for lunch (cost of lunch not included in price). The 6 hour hike, including lunch stop, will end back at Charmouth beach. and will show you some of the highlights of the Jurassic Coast and its spectacular scenery and will give you a real appreciation of what this area has to offer
Other things to note
This is a long walk with some challenging rolling countryside. Come prepared with the right clothing and footwear, and I suggest a rucksack with snacks, water a camera, hat and gloves if it is cold and suncream and sunglasses if it is warm. Some people also bring binoculars

I have lived in Charmouth for 4 years but have been visiting the area for over 40 years. I teach paddle boarding and fitness as well as planning hikes and manage some local accommodation. I worked in the live events industry for 20 years prior to moving here, so I believe I understand what makes a great adventure :)
