What you'll do

This is a guided Kayaking adventure to see Seals at the Seal Colony and experience the beautiful Pittwater waterways and beaches.
Your guide is qualified and certified by Paddle Australia and very knowledgeable about the Seals
A picnic lunch and snacks are provided as is all the equipment.
You get to spend as much time as you like with the Seals as long as they are not disturbed. The Seals will be sun baking on the rocks and resting in the water. There are usually 15 to 20 Seals to look at. Legally you are not allowed closer to a Seal than 10m in NSW. However this is plenty close enough for a great look and good photos.
After the Seals we paddle across Pittwater for a picnic lunch on a beautiful sandy beach. Which beach will depend on the weather conditions that day.
Following lunch we return to our point of embarkation.
Total time is around 3.5 to 4 hours.
This is a relatively easy paddle, though you should not do this if you are very unfit.
To fit into the Kayak you should be less than 2m tall and able to fit into a seat that is 40cm wide.
You must be at least 5 years old and accompanied by an adult if under 18.
Suitable for beginner paddlers as well as those who have paddled before.
Come on an adventure you will remember for the rest of your life.

I have had a passion for kayaking all my adult life.
I am also a competitive sportsman. I began competing in white-water slalom paddling in 1976 and progressed to canoe polo, in which I have represented Australia.

A Paddle Australia certified guide, I have been professionally guiding since 2004 and has helped countless people experience the beautiful waterways of New South Wales.

As a keen wildlife photographer with an extensive knowledge of Australian bird life, and Seals I will point out wildlife most people would miss.

My calm, confident approach and sense of humour combined with my extensive knowledge of local history and wildlife make me of Sydney’s most sought after and acclaimed kayak guides.
