Anthony didn’t give up on us when we had trouble getting to the meeting site on time, due to transportation issues out of our control. He ended up rescheduling the next morning and met us at the train station. Anthony was above and beyond our expectations. His knowledge of the area was exceptional.

Anthony was an outstanding guide and made our time in Matera truly memorable. His energy and enthusiasm were infectious, and he brought the city's incredible history to life in a way that was both engaging and fun. The tour felt personal rather than scripted, with plenty of opportunities to ask questions and explore topics that interested us.
Anthony's knowledge of Matera and Italian history and culture was exceptional, but what really stood out was his passion for sharing it. We left with a far deeper appreciation of this remarkable city than we could ever have gained on our own. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to experience the real Matera through the eyes of a passionate local.

I graduated in history from the University of Siena in 2012, with a thesis on the Arab Kingdom of Granada. In 2016, I studied historical sciences at the University of Bologna. I've lived and worked as a Granada historian, and now, in Basilicata, I share my love for history with everyone.
