What you'll do

One day stained glass workshops tutorial days start with a cup of tea or coffee and health and Safety when working with glass.
This is an opportunity to get to know my guests and we can then decide together from a wide range of pre-designed art pattens what they would like to make a gain from their glass workshop.

There are various processes involved which I explain to them in detail so each guest has a better understanding of the stained glass process to making a stained glass panel.
Regardless of the item chosen to make, the process is the same. I recommend not more than eight to ten pieces of glass per design. This is to ensure that the item is finished within the allotted time and each guest gains the best experience from stained glass art.

Guest are given a basic introduction to professional stained glass and techniques. Guest will learn the essential stained glass skills that Includes, design, glass cutting, leading, soldering and cementing if time permits.

My courses are generally offered on a one to one basis. This is because it allows me to give my undivided attention to my guest. However, two people from the same household would work equally well.
Tea and coffee and bottled water will be available throughout the day. Please bring a packed lunch. There is free parking at our venue and a train station near by.
We will start at 10am and aim to finish by 4pm.
