What you'll do

Pan-fried gyoza ( Yaki gyoza ) is one of the most amazing Japanese original recipes.

If you want to enjoy the best gyoza, making wrapper from scratch, not ready-made wrapper is recommended because gyoza is a dish which you enjoy the chewy and crispy wrapper as well as the juicy filling.
You’ll learn each step that goes into making the delicious gyoza dumpling in this class.
The general steps are below,
1) Make gyoza wrapper dough
2) Make gyoza fillings
3) Prepare two styles of dipping sauce
4) Roll out the dough and make the wrapper
5) Wrap the fillings
6) Fry gyoza to finish

This is really authentic wonderful cooking experience! As a Japanese guy, I've made Gyoza (dumpling) several times in my home. But I never made dumpling skin from the scratch. I felt I really making Gyoza and very satisfied. Of course Gyoza is really yummy, I think Tomoko's well-thought recipe is great.
