What you'll do

We leave our marina in a cozy place that has the hygiene and health standards for Covid. In the place we have "Living Stones" of great importance for human life, what they are, how they were formed, when, where and why the Bacalar lagoon is important at the national level is where our adventure begins.

Together we navigate the most important Cenote of the lagoon of the 7 colors "Xulha" that derives from the Mayan and means (Where the water ends), is the one that is in charge of supplying the water to the entire lagoon with the help of water springs. Here we snorkel for adventurers, at the end of it there are warm crystalline waters surrounded by mangroves with turquoise tones where we enjoy a picnic.

Later, we will sail north where we will observe the most important biological corridor of "Living stones" in the area, with the help of binoculars we will achieve a better appreciation of life in the jungle and mangroves.

You will learn very important information about the History and Biology of this beautiful place, aboard a charismatic light and compact sailboat "Hakuna" that you can drive with the supervision of your guide.

Be a responsible tourist and enjoy your trip with HAKUNA !!!

I am originally from "Bakhalal" which derives from the Mayan language and means (Surrounded by Carrizos), more than 5 years ago I learned to navigate sailing boats as an ecotourism alternative. Currently I am the Guide and captain of my own Sailboat.

During the last years tourism has increased and with it the demand for motor boats. Promoting the sport of sailing and making it recreational makes it comforting, you enjoy and reconnect with nature.

Let's travel together in "Hakuna" a light and lovingly restored boat so that your experience is truly unique, personalized, without haste and with total navigation.
My motto is HAKUNA MATATA and yours ??

I invite you to be part of this Experience !!!!

Where you'll be

We are located in the least impacted area of the lagoon of the 7 colors "Xulha" which derives from Mayan and means (Where the water ends), here you can perform low-impact activities, get away from routine stress and connect with nature. A very private, magical and cozy place with the perfect combination between its turquoise waters and its landscapes.

My friends and I spent the whole morning and part of the afternoon with both Daniel and His girlfriend. Not only did we have a great time in beautiful views they took us to the most beautiful parts of the lagoon and gave us some history and knowledge about it with all the transparency. I highly recommend them for your tour in Bacalar. They had a great energy and were very very easy-going it was like hanging out with our own friends.

Daniel & His Team were amazing. We were one of the first Airbnb guests they had taken sailing so there were a few hiccups, but overall we enjoyed their company, and it was an unforgettable way to end 2020.
