My name is Laura Metcalf, and I’m a cellist. Along with my husband, classical guitarist Rupert Boyd, we are the founders and co-artistic directors of GatherNYC. We also comprise the duo Boyd Meets Girl. We released our self-titled debut album in 2017, which reached No. 3 on the Billboard Traditional Classical Chart. Over the past several years we have toured together throughout the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Nepal and India.
