What you'll do

I will introduce myself and that will give you an idea of what race i belong to as Kuala Lumpur is a melting pot of few different races. The experience takes part in one of the oldest village in the middle of a modern city and i will show you around so you get a feel of where exactly this village is in Kuala Lumpur.

I will start with the history of the place as i proceed to the first house of worship used by the Muslims. Please take note that there will be lots of distraction along the journey. Example me saying hi to the friendly locals. Then we proceed to the second house of worship which is just a few hundred meters away.

I might highlight the traditional malay houses that are still in use around the village. We might hit some snacks along the journey depending on different days i walk around the village. I'll be eating, you'll be looking, so please be ready with your own snacks so you won't feel left out. After the second house of worship used by the Sikh's, i will proceed to the last house of worship belonging to the Buddhist's. This is where we end.

Even though these 3 houses of worship are close to each other that belong to different religions, you have just experienced the harmony between them which is well balanced and this is not something new, but has already been practiced for almost a century in Kampong Bharu, a Muslim majority village in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

I started off and currently still am a nature guide in one of the worlds’ largest and oldest man-made forest

After few years of guiding in the rainforest, I came across the art of guiding in the city

I have guided adventures that consist of people from all sorts of backgrounds from the ages of 3 to 93

No matter how many times I go to the same place, I never get bored because there’s always something different and new to see and explore

The uniqueness of a country can be seen in the different mix of race, religion, culture, architecture, history, nature
and food …Malaysia offers exactly this

For me, the journey is the destination and everyday is a brand new day to be enjoyed to the fullest

This is so far the best online experience I have had so far. It's outdoor, so you will get to see lot of interesting things Live with Wan. He is very friendly, at the same time very professional and has a very funny and lively way of story telling. Don't miss it.

One of the best introductions to Malaysian culture. Never have I imagined that I could enjoy it virtually. I was impressed on how Mr. Wan took me for a walk through Kampong Bharu, unlike most virtual online experiences are done in front of a computer, Mr.Wan actually walked around the area while entertaining me along the journey, and I got to see everything done live on site in real time. He was a friendly and experienced tourist guide.
