Fiyah, was the son of a minister, but left it all behind 37 years ago when his Spirit called him to Rasta. He has lived in the hills and built his camp by hand. He grows of 1000 fruit trees and lives off natural spring water and his own grown foods. His life is simple, yet complete in every way. Amazing...

It was a great time! We learned a lot about how Rastafarians live, and the hike was pretty hard. Definitely wear comfortable shoes.

Cultural immersion breaks barriers when you have an open mind. I had a lot of my own personal thoughts about Rasta's and their lifestyle. This experience confirmed some stereotypes but also broke some. If you take this experience for more than just mere entertainment but to truly learn about how they live, their thought process and beliefs then you will learn more than you ever would out of a book or classroom. The conversation was great and the food was delicious. I would recommend this to anyone that would like to learn about the culture on a different level.

This experience was truly unique and amazing my partner enjoyed Fiyah’s whole vibe and way of living! He treated us so great and with such respect. He also cooked an amazing meal for us which has been hands down best meal in Jamaica! He made it with love and it showed. We enjoyed it so much we can’t wait to come again and bring our friends and family!

We really enjoyed everything, it was great change of pace getting out of Negril and up to the mountains. Zimbalis is beautiful in itself, but having a chance to go on the hike with Fiyah was awesome! This isn’t the standard touristy activity but a genuine experience that won’t be forgotten. I did think the final stretch of the hike up the mountain was difficult, on a 10 point scale probably a 7 (I’m not in tip top shape) and I can imagine it would be too difficult for certain folks.

It was a great experience. We learned a lot about the plants of jamaica and we got a fresh meal. You need good shoes, because it is going up into the hills. We saw his home and enjoyed an amazing view.
