What you'll do

We'll start at the Square of Sighs in front of the Matanza River, introducing yourself in photographic composition, so that you begin to deal with artistic parameters. We'll then go to the La Boca neighborhood and start walking the street museum known as "Caminito," with its thousands of wall paintings, sculptures, conventillos, docks, and characters. We'll exploit the full capacities of our photographic skills and work on developing new ones. After that go to San Telmo, the oldest neighbourhood in the city, where tango lives and shines. Can't miss pictures will include, the two ferries, the "Bombonera" stadium, and the docks. When we're finished, we'll go to a local to share a glass of craft beer and go over the day's work

I did the experience with Gaston and I have the feeling that I learned something about how to structure elements within picture frame. What I liked the most though was the nice chat about Argentinian culture and lifestyle, this was a real added value. Maybe the time of the experience should be better balanced between la Boca and San Telmo, but in general I totally recommend this experience.

It was wonderful learning about the history of La Boca and also walk around the area. Due to the storm and down pouring the timing of the experience was effected. We enjoyed photographing and learning about the culture of LaBoca.

The day was superb with Javier and Gaston. They not only gave us tips for photography but they also discussed the political and cultural history of Boca, San Telmo and Argentina more widely. This "experience" allows you to go beyond the "beautiful colors" of Boca. Moreover, they are very friendly, relaxed and made us feel welcomed from the start. They also speak very good English. Do not hesitate to go there, I highly recommend this experience .Thank you Gaston and Javier !
