What you'll do

After being instructed on how to use our electric scooters and have given you a test run then we will start the tour. First we will give you a brief history of Bangkok and it's food culture as we ride to the first stop.

⭐Local Thai Market - our first stop on the tour is a local Thai market, here you'll get to try some local Thai fruits and get to see how local Thai people buy their food. From here we will explore the narrow alleyways of the ThonBuri side of Bangkok before we cross over the Chao Phraya River via the memorial bridge to Chinatown

⭐Chinatown - here you'll get to try some street food from Bangkok's most famous street food street, we'll tell you about the history of the Chinese community and how they influenced the Thai food and culture. After this we get back on the scooter and ride around the back streets of Chinatown, before we cross back over the river on a local ferry.

⭐Tha Din Daeng Market - at this local market we'll sample some traditional Thai foods, before stopping at a local park.

⭐Wat Prayoon - at this local temple we stop so you can feed the turtles for a bit of kama, after which we take the scooter along the riverside path.

Then we return to the start where we say goodbye

Hi I am Jam and the other one in the photo is Paul my boyfriend. Along with our friends Woody and Mr Jobe we host bike and e-scooter tours in Bangkok.

I have lived in the city for 16 years and have seen many of the changes the city has gone through. I have a great local knowledge of the hidden gems, on our tours we'll take you to see local areas that tourists don't normally get to see, as well as the some of the main tourists sites from different perspective

We absolutely love Bangkok and love to share anecdotes, facts and stories in between stops.

Touring on electric scooter has an unparalleled sense of freedom it's a easy way to see the history and beauty of Bangkok has to offer ... and don't worry we'll teach you how to ride the scooter before you start - it's very easy!

Where you'll be

The tour starts at mine and Paul's house/office, which is located 1 minutes walk from Itsaraphap MRT station. We'll give you instructions as to how to find us.

The tour is focused on showing you the other side of Bangkok so you'll mostly be riding around the Thon Buri side of Bangkok, where you'll get to see how local Thai people live.

Loved our night scooter trip with Jam. It ended up just being us with Jam and her new trainee and she was kind enough to customize the trip a bit for us to cut the total time as we had an early flight the next day and had just finished Jam's afternoon bike tour (also awesome!). We got some very unique and yummy street food, a few things even I (a very bold street food consumer) likely would never have tried without doing this tour. We had some stand and eat treats and sit down at one of the countless streetside restaurants all over Bangkok. Zipping around on the electric scooters was so fun and we never felt nervous about traffic or safety. And Jam is just lovely. She is passionate and knowledgable. HIGHLY recommend any of their tours.

Unique trip to explore an alternative Bangkok! Without it we would not be able to see this face of the city. Wandering around different communities, tasting real local food and learning about stories behind makes this trip a jewel. We were on a e-scooter, jumped on and off to a boat to see different parts and caught the sunset on Memorial bridge. Many thanks to Jam for hosting it and making us feel welcome to this beautiful city. Merve&Michele

We had a really good time with Jobe on our e-scooter tour around Bangkok. The trip felt really special, and we had such a fun time. I am vegetarian, and didn't feel like I missed out on the food aspect at all - Jobe was very accommodating, I tried lots of yummy Thai food! We went through lots of busy streets, and back alleys - which was so much fun, and we saw what it is like to live in Bangkok for the locals. I highly recommend this experience! Jobe was a great tour guide, who speaks excellent English.
