Where you'll be

We will leave from Lakeview Commons* and paddle out onto peaceful Lake Tahoe before the rest of the basin awakens. You will see the entire South Shore from the water. Jenay and her paddleboard yoga class are incredible. The views are breathtaking, the class was challenging and fun, and the water is beautiful and refreshing. 10/10 would do this again.

This was a fantastic experience. I honestly didn't realize how much I needed it until I was out there on the water and staring out to the mountains. You truly do relax into it and feel your troubles melt away. Jenay was great, from basic paddleboard instructions to switching poses in the best way to keep your balance. I will definitely go again next time I'm back in Tahoe.

So far, this has been the most serene experience of my life. We spent Sunday morning on Lake Tahoe, learning to paddle board, doing yoga and watching a yellow hot-air balloon flying overhead. The weather was beautiful, completing the picture. I truly enjoyed every second and Jenay really made me feel safe out on the water. I was surprised by how many yoga positions we were able to do on the boards. Jenay walked us through the steps at a good pace to make sure we wouldn't fall off of our boards. Overall, the experience felt much longer than an hour and a half and definitely worth the cost. I would say it is helpful to have taken some sort of yoga class before trying this but, if you haven't, I wouldn't worry about it. You are not pressured to do any of the poses. I'd also recommend anyone doing this class to wear clothing that they are comfortable getting wet. You will step into the water up to your knees, the boards get wet (which you then lay on at the end,) and you may wanna take a dip in the water after. :) Very refreshing. I felt great afterwards!

The experience was lovely. Weather was perfect and as someone who has paddle boarded and practiced yoga I enjoyed getting to put them together. She did a great job at encouraging beginners and giving variations to more practiced participants. If you are in the area, I would highly recommend starting your day with this.
