My family of four just had the best evening learning about and cooking "the thieves dinner"...and it was even better than the 5-star reviews we had read through prior to booking! Kostas and his sons built a beautiful property, and Veerna was informative and fun! The meal we prepared was robust and delicious and by the end, everyone we cooked with felt like friends! This is by far the best experience we have done in Crete-dont miss out!

This was one of my favorite cooking classes I’ve ever taken and a highlight of my time in Chania! Veerna is so nice, thoughtful, and funny! The class is a family affair and it feels like you are spending time with a loved one in their backyard learning how to cook rather than a stuff cooking class. The food was authentic and delicious and we were stuffed! I highly recommend

The cooking class with Veerna was an incredible experience and I’m so glad we did it! The set up in the backyard somehow helps you feel simultaneously at home but also in a professional class. Veerna is incredibly knowledgeable (as are the other members of her family who help out) and the atmosphere helps you mingle with other guests from all over the world. The food was delicious and she provides the recipes after the class, counting down the days until I make the Thieves Dinner again!
