Denver, Colorado, United States

What you'll do

We start our adventure at one of Denver's best coffee shops, in the Highlands neighborhood, minutes from downtown. All level hikers are welcome. We will customize the hiking experience based on the preferences of the group and the current trail conditions.

We'll connect with nature, soak in the sunshine, see jaw dropping mountain views, maybe see some wildlife, take snack and water breaks, learn about the wildflowers and trees, make new friends, get some exercise and breathe in the fresh mountain air! We will take as many photos as you'd like and send them to you at the end of the hike. Our hope is that you'll feel healthier and happier after spending time hiking with us and connecting with the beauty of Colorado. There will be an optional group lunch after the hike or you can buy lunch at the coffee shop and eat at a picturesque spot on the trail. After the hike, we can drop you off at the coffee shop or at the Golden train station where you can board a train that goes directly downtown to Union Station.

The hike's elevation will be somewhere between 6,000 and 12,000 ft. A car is not required for this experience, but during Covid, we encourage guests to provide their own transportation. If that is not possible, we are happy to drive you in our car.

Where you'll be

Each experience will be different. We will determine the perfect trail, based on the day's weather conditions, the group's hiking experience and the number of cars in the group. I will send the trail and meeting information the day before the experience. This hike is in the Rocky Mountains west of Denver, NOT in Rocky Mountain National Park.

Had a great experience at Chief Mountain with my group and Brian! He did a great job of making sure we took enough breaks and that we got whatever pictures we wanted. Amazing views and a good time!

Great at breaking the ice barrier. Includes everyone in the photos, convos, sight seeing. Gets to know everyone and creates an experience easily memorable.

I had Brian as my host and he was amazing! We bonded over where we were from and even though two of our hikers didn’t show up and it was just he and I, it was still amazing and he made me feel super comfortable. It was like I knew him for a long time with how easy the conversation came. As for the hike, he took me to Mt Falcon and it was the perfect hike for my abilities! Going up in elevation threw me off but he gave me plenty of time to rest! Plus, the views were AMAZING so we spent a decent amount of time at the top!

Our trip experience was awesome! We Mark at a cool coffee shop and that’s where the fun began. We drove up to the mountains and as we went up, Mark told us about everything. He was literally a book of knowledge because he knew everything haha. We ene tiempo the first location and we’re ready to go and as we started hiking, we soon figured out that it wasn’t possible cause of the heavy snow so we turned around but likely Mark knew another great spot in Evergreen which was a cute town. We got over there and hiked up our way through the trails and it was spectacular. The whole trip was super fun! We are super glad that we did this.
