What you'll do

Hello, and welcome!

This experience is truly unique, not just for photography professionals but for anyone who enjoys a pleasant city exploration. The carefully curated itinerary includes the city's best landmarks like Edinburgh Castle, Arthur's Seat, or the picturesque Victoria Street.

However, we won't stop here!

After exploring the medieval Old Town and some of the most elegant Georgian streets in Europe, our path will take us through neighbourhoods that are nearly impossible to find. The scenery will change from city to nature and back with superb spots and secret locations. We'll learn about each area, stories, and history will unfold as we ride. Edinburgh is one of the most important cities in the world. Let's find out why!

The pedal-assisted E-bikes are easy to use and comfortable, making the 13miles hidden gem hunt a smooth trip. For lunch, we can grab a light bite on the beach. Fish & Chips, ice cream, or Montreal style bagels are all part of the repertoire.

Edinburgh's weather can change very quickly, which is both a pro and a con. We will have many options to take shelter if needed and also end up with some great photos at the end of the day. Please plan with a raincoat, dress layered, but pack your sunglasses too as you might need them ;)

Everybody is welcome!

Where you'll be

We will explore Edinburgh's most important sites along with plenty of hidden gems and local areas. Calton Hill and Holyrood Palace are the two locations we won't visit.

The route is 80% bike paths and lanes, and around 10% in easy road traffic.

All right. Let's go!

David's tour is the best way to see as much of Edinburgh as possible. He tailored the tour to us and this was a highlight of our stay! If you are deciding between a walking tour or this, I highly recommend this e-bikes tour for a unique and memorable day plus great pictures.

For us, really lifted the lid on the great city of Edinburgh. I’ve visited many times over the years, but David’s tour was something else. Yes- we went to some of the better known sights. But our four hours + took us to some real finds which other tours would never cover: to name a few, fish and chips on lovely Portobello Beach, a ride through a challenged council estate in Leith (think Trainspotting) and a huge range of unique Instagram opportunities. David has the infectious enthusiasm of someone who has adopted (and loves) a city- and that made our day really special. E bikes are fun to ride and Edinburgh is super bike friendly. We couldn’t recommend it more highly. Just do it.

I have lived in Edinburgh for many years and I still got to see places I’d never seen before! It was so much fun! Very informative! You really do learn something new everyday and on this experience I learnt a lot! David is very welcoming - I was nervous to go city biking but he made me feel at ease and comfortable. He was very supportive! Looked after me very well! His knowledge of the city is admirable! The route was planned perfectly! With great mini breaks to admire your surroundings or learn something about the city itself! The fish and chips in the middle was a great touch! This meant everyone got to enjoy the seaside and talk to one another. It is really worth its value! I was shocked we got to do so much! I would 100% do this experience again with a friend as it was the perfect day! Thank you so much! It was magical!

First of all, my partner Henry and I were so honored to be the first group to ever do this tour with David. It made the experience that much more personal and exciting for everyone. We had a beautiful e-bike tour of Edinburgh, Portobello Beach, Leith, Duddington’s, Arthur’s Seat, and many other spots. David had a vast knowledge of each of the places we visited, always having a historical fact or personal anecdote that made the place feel significant and special. He was a master storyteller and captured some beautiful moments of me and Henry on camera. The places we traveled to were all Instagram eye candy—well thought out by David and sure to have any social media aficionado ecstatic to “get the shot” during their stay in Edinburgh. The only real critique I could give is that the timeframe of the tour and pacing could’ve been considered more, but with it being the first e-bike tour he’s conducted, we are sure this will be ironed out for future tours. I would suggest this tour to anybody visiting Edinburgh with a sense of adventure and excitement. We not only had a fantastic tour guide, but a new friend we are excited to see the next time we are in Edinburgh. Thank you for the amazing experience, David!
