What you'll do

Enjoy history, wine, and nature in this all-in-one experience!
You will start from the ancient ruins of Pompeii, where an archeological guide will take you on an exploration (2.5 hours) of this ancient city while painting a picture of what life was like during one of the most important empires of all time: The Roman Empire. The site of Pompeii is a true gem frozen in the year 79, which allows us to jump back in time and touch a piece of history as it was nearly 2,000 years ago.
After the guided tour, it will be time for the Italian in you to come alive and embark on your tour of Vesuvian wineries with a driver who will take care of you for the rest of the day. The wineries we'll be visiting are all in the National Park of Mount Vesuvius, known for its fertile volcanic soil and giving us the grapes only produced here. The result is the famous Lacryma Christi (Tears of Christ), a wine most equivalent to that of which the ancient Romans enjoyed.

I was born in Pompeii, I've been studying Latin and Greek History for about 6 years, I spend all my life here trying to know and appreciate as much as I could from the history that surrounds our area every day. When I came back from a trip from Scotland I realized I wanted to let people enjoy what was my idea of Tourism in Pompeii, a smart, knowledgable and enjoyable way to see our incredible city and appreciate it the most, this is why I decided to team up with young and very knowledgeable guides of the area. We've been receiving really good impressions from all our guests but we are always seeking the best by learning and studying in order to get the most out of every single historical piece that surrounds us.

We loved the tour of Pompei - our tour guide was very passionate (he’d just finished his PhD on one of the rooms of the Pompei archeological site), and was keen to point out details and to provide information I am sure we would not have noticed or learned about ourselves. He gave us a great overview of the background of Pompei’s history, and went into very interesting details on some cool aspects of the site. We had an excellent time learning about Pompei, and felt lucky to have an expert showing us around! The wine tasting afterwards was also fantastic and portions were very generous! We got to sample some delicious wines, had one of the best lunches we’ve had on our whole trip (omg the spaghetti w tomato sauce was delicious 🤩) and we left very full, and a little bit drunk (and happy!). Plan in a food coma/drunk nap for after this tour 😂!

We started with the Pompeii Ruins and they were an emotionally overwhelming experience, to say the least. The guide of this experience did an excellent job of painting a picture of what life was like in Pompeii 2000 years ago and I could almost see myself as a citizen walking amongst the hustle and bustle of its streets. Next, we went off to two stunningly beautiful wineries looking at the Sorrento coast. I learned that there is a whole world of Vesuvian wines to be discovered by the rest of the wine world and I can't believe I have gone this long in life without knowing them! I can't recommend this tour enough. Not only was it a great value, but I left with even more knowledge about the world than what I showed up with! I will never forget this!
