What you'll do
I will be partnering with Pamakani, an amazing flower artist, to teach you how to make Lei Po'o. We will start off with a brief introduction and background of lei-making and its significance in Hawaiian culture. We’ll go through all the supplies and make sure everyone is ready to go. Then, Pamakani will take us through, step by step. It should take about 30 mins to complete a flower head crown. In the end, I’ll open things up to questions and conversation!
As a heads up, expect that my experience will be streamed live for more fans to watch both on Airbnb.com and on YouTube, so if you book to join me, you'll also get to be part of the stream.

Other things to note
You can never have too many flowers! If you have leftovers you can always make a beautiful arrangement for your house or gift to a friend. Aloha is treating others with love, respect and kindness without wanting anything in return. I actually encourage you to give some away to show that Aloha spirit

My name is Carissa Moore. I am a 4X World Champion surfer from Honolulu, Hawaii, and I will be a part of USA's surfing team in the Tokyo 2021 Olympics.
Born and raised on the island of Oahu, the Aloha spirit is a huge part of my lifestyle and who I am. I am passionate about sharing the Aloha spirit with others through my non-profit called Moore Aloha. Our mission is to empower young women to be strong, confident, and compassionate individuals.
In Hawaiian, Aloha means love. The flower lei is a symbol of love, unity, and respect. One of the activities we include in our Moore Aloha events is the making of lei po'o. I thought this would be a really fun and special activity to share with you.
