Over the past 3 years I've welcomed hundreds of home cooks into my kitchen to learn the basics of cooking comforting, seasonal, vegetarian food. Now I'm bringing those meals virtual! I specialize in making what I like to call "Japanese-y" foods (not super traditional since I grew up in a mixed household where we combined Japanese and American influences) and enjoy sharing it with others.

When I learned how many people find cooking intimidating, stressful, and time consuming, I decided to start teaching cooking classes through my platform, Seasoned Cook, to give people the building blocks to make cooking approachable. I've found sharing foods that bring me the most comfort, ease, and joy gets others excited to get in the kitchen too. For more, check out

Did this class with Megan as a team virtual offsite - it was great because everyone got to buy their own ingredients (have people based in many cities) so no logistics to coordinate. The class itself was lovely and everyone got to use their hands! Megan creates an environment that’s relaxing and fun which is what we needed!

We had a wonderful class with Megan, she explained everything super well - from the initial list of ingredients and possible substitutes, to the step by step of making delicious Guyozas. Her love for Japanese cuisine (and food in general) is obvious. She was also super personable and got the team at ease. We were a big enough group of 12 and Megan did a great job making everyone feel included. The end result was delicious and my team absolutely LOVED the class.
