What you'll do

Our guided small-group rides offer a fun and safe activity—the perfect way to experience physically-distanced social bonding!

This authentic tour goes beyond downtown into Montreal's hip must-see 'hoods. You'll gain a sense of Montreal's relaxed way of life from behind the scenes.

We’ll set you up on a nice bike, a pleasure to ride. We’ll lead you on a loop route using non-crowded bike paths, quiet streets, and charming "green" laneways.

This is our staff favourite bike tour—you’ll cruise through the artsy Plateau and Mile-End, be treated to views of Mont-Royal from Outremont, then onto charming neighbourhoods of Little Italy and Petit-Patrie.

Your leader will be one of our specially trained Montreal ambassadors. Learn the stories of Montrealers and their culture - from musical heroes, to culinary icons, and the open-minded residents & students that populate these 'hoods today. Even if you have lived here for years you will discover something new.

Bikes are such a great way to get outside and get moving.
We find 3-hour experiences provide a nice sweet spot of exercise and enjoyment, and enable you to plan more into your day.

**Feel like a real treat? Check out our highly-rated Airbnb Bike & Spa Wellness Experience which combines a more intimate bike ride with even more street art & murals capped off by boarding the floating Bota Bota nordic Spa to relax the day away.**

We are Shea & Diego and this is our company FITZ.

FITZ was inspired by the rewarding experiences a traveller's curious mindset can bring while out exploring the world or re-discovering one's own city. Especially by bike.

Our staff and guides apply this contagious mindset to the experiences that we've created and host for our guests & friends. We always aim for our travellers to feel a little more local, and for the locals to feel a little more like travellers.

We've been running Bike Tours in Montreal since 2009, Toronto & Quebec City since 2019. Our team is very carefully chosen, and we have been working hard together to adapt our routes before re-opening safely and smartly.

The good news is that our experiences have always featured green areas, tucked-away spots, better views, and paths / trails to move about at a safe distance!

Where you'll be

We meet at Fitz & Follwell, our own location in the Plateau area.

Together we cruise some Plateau green laneways for a glimpse into backyards, and spot street art and huge Murals along the way.
Next is hipster and Hasidic Mile End (home of the Montreal Bagel, yum..) then onto Outremont, Petit-Patrie, and Little Italy.

In these areas, many new bike paths and nice public spaces have popped up, with space to physically distance and socially bond.

Jeff was a fantastic tour guide! We are from Montreal and he showed us places we’ve never seen before! He’s funny, full of interesting knowledge and charismatic. I highly recommend going on this tour! Thank you so much Jeff :)

Martin was passionate about the city and knew so much. Right from restaurants to when what was built and why. Great guy and great experience.

We LOVED this tour. It was our favorite part of our Montreal trip. We planned to do it first which I do recommend but it was super rainy so we postponed it. They were accommodating and understanding. It was a very small tour (us and one other couple) and very safe during COVID times. The bikes were wonderful. Our favorite was just biking through the alleyways and backyards! So glad we did this! Fran was our guide - she was sweet and knowledgeable. Thank you!

This is a great bike tour! I really enjoyed it. Martin was great in guiding us to all the cool back allies and spent additional time with us.

I highly recommend the tour to see parts of these lovely neighbourhoods that would otherwise get missed. This would be a great tour to do on one of the first days of your holiday so you could go back and revisit spots you would like to explore more deeply.

No better way to experience Montreal than on two wheels. My only regret is not doing their “Essentials” ride.. something to look forward to for our next trip. Our guide was experienced and knowledgeable.. definitely made our ride a positive one.
