I'm a former civics teacher & museum educator and I love teaching about the built environment; especially when I'm able to use art and music to tell stories. I'm licensed as a tour guide and welcome everyone to come as you are and learn about our city!

Tim’s knowledge of the Shaw/U St. and Black Broadway area combined with his charismatic personality made the tour such an enjoyable experience. He was so gracious and allowed us to ask as many questions as we liked and never hesitated to answer each one as it arose. Tim also has a deep understanding and knowledge of the Washington DC area as a whole and was able to infuse additional information into our tour experience. I wholeheartedly recommend that you choose Tim to lead and narrate the tour of the Shaw/U Street/Black Broadway experience. He will not disappoint!
