What you'll do

Cat ( aka Vixen DeVille) will welcome you into her home and private studio where we'll go through the theory and safety precautions behind fire eating and body burning. We'll then venture outside where we'll actually light up the torches and explore this performance art fully. By the end of the session you'll be fire eating and body burning like a pro.

I am a burlesque & variety performer. I learnt this skill back in 2005 when I felt sub-par with my fellow performers in terms of my singing & dance skills. Whilst working with a magician and amazed by fire performance he very casually said "do you want to learn?". I was amazed at how simple this very impressive skill was, and it became the thing that set me aside from the very singers and dancers I had envied from the sidelines. I am passionate about teaching seemingly unavailable skills to those who wish to learn, the human body is amazing! YOU are amazing! We all need a reminder sometimes!

Super unique experience, and you learn so much in just 1.5 hours. I was a bit scared at first, but the host made us feel safe and supported. Would highly recommend!

I'd echo much of what has been said in all the other 5-star reviews. This is such a unique experience--and something that made me feel my much shortened trip to LA (coronavirus has a way of changing plans) was still worth it. She teaches you expertly and trusts you to challenge yourself. In an hour-and-a-half you truly learn so much. Do yourself a favor and do this experience!

We did this as a team building activity and it was wild! It is at Cat’s apartment and it’s kind of crazy to be right outside practicing these fire tricks but it totally works. She’s incredibly warm and calming. 3 out of 6 people in our group decided they wanted to try eating fire along with a few other tricks. I was terrified and convinced I wouldn’t do it but ended up doing it and felt really safe thanks to Cat’s instruction.

Cat was an amazing host and I loved every minute of this experience! She made us feel so welcome in her home and felt completely comfortable before actually being able to start eating fire for the first time! Cat was such an angel the whole time and made this such a fun and exciting experience that I can’t wait to practice (she also sells fire sticks!!). All around a fantastic person, highly recommend! :)
