What you'll do
This goat milking demonstration is designed to help introduce you to the farm systems, processes and techniques involved with milking dairy goats. We will also familiarize you with basic animal care and safety.
We'll start off by heading to our little stable and meeting our three goats, Flora, Fauna and Moona. We will discuss goat feed and nutrition and share our special lacto-fermented organic grain feed recipe with you as well as tips for encouraging optimal goat health and well-being.
Then we'll move on to the milking demonstration, and talk about milking best practices, techniques and pro tips.
Then we will walk by the pasture, let the goats out into it and have a photo-op (goats take the BEST selfies!), meet our livestock guardian dogs, answer any general questions you have and discuss the amazing properties of goat's milk and what can be done with it.
We will wrap up sitting under the gazebo by the duck pond or on the water view deck while we offer you a short tasting of whatever is fresh on the farm.
We will send your group home with a sample of whatever is fresh on the farm for you to enjoy so you can continue enjoying your experience after you have left.
Other things to note
Due to COVID19, all participants must wear masks. We are only accepting single-party reservations--just you and your guests.
As your host and a pregnant person, I will be maintaining a physical distance of 6 feet. Hand washing before touching animals or farm property is required. Thank you!

I'm a multi-passiomate artist, entrepreneur and micro farmer. I have been practicing permaculture for over 15 years and have designed, planted and assisted with permaculture gardens in Italy, on the tropical island of Kauai, and throughout the United States.
We have owned and operated our organic family farm and raised goats for 8 years. We also ran a goat CSA program for many years on Kauai. My favorite goat milk product recently has been goat mozzarella made with vegetarian rennet. It's delicious!

I took my parents to Brittney’s farm and we loved the experience! She was very informative and has the best animals! We learned to milk goats and how she cares for them and the importance of how they are fed. She gave us a little tour and we got to checkout what was happening in her beautiful garden. I would highly recommend a visit to anyone looking for a fun new experience! Thank you, Brittney!

This was the best experience! We booked so last minute and had no problems. My daughter learned so much and was excited to try out the tricks Brittany told her on milking the goats. My wife enjoyed her first experience milking goats too! The place is so beautiful all the animals are just a joy to be around and incredibly friendly. They both came back just talking about their trip for days. I don’t want to ruin the surprise of this trip so I’ll just say it’s totally worth it and we plan to visit again in the future for sure!

Do this! Meet the fluffiest dogs in the world! Milk the docile, patient goats! Pet the soft barn cats! Giggle at the turkeys following you around this amazing property!
It was such a fun morning! We learned so much about all the animals. Brittney is immersed in the goat community. She was also generous with her life's story - which is amazing, so I won't spoil it for you here.
Usually Brittney gives you some of the milk you have milked but since we are both lactose intolerant, she collected some heirloom apples and pears from her friends and gifted them. So thoughtful of her - and delicious!
