What you'll do

Have you ever wondered how maple syrup is made? Our tour will show you the whole process from tap to table! We start by looking at an individual maple tree, explaining the tapping process and how sap travels to the sugar shack to be boiled into syrup. See tubes, tanks, pumps, reverse osmosis, and our 6x18’ evaporator, learning fun facts about sap and syrup. We explain how our other products are made, such as maple sugar, cream, and candy. We’ll answer questions along the way, sampling various products, all of which are available for purchase at the end of the tour.
Other things to note:
* Wear clothing and footwear suitable for the season and for some light walking.
* As a small family business it is sometimes difficult to maintain regular dates/times of tours listed on our calendar. If you are interested in taking a tour, please contact us with your desired date/time and we will do our best to accommodate you and your group.

I started making maple syrup as a hobby in 2013, having always enjoyed nature and the outdoors. After a few years I decided to turn it into a business. My wife and I bought 100 acres in 2015 and got to work setting up tubing in preparation for the 2016 maple season. Since then we have grown to approximately 22,000 taps across 4 properties, and have produced more maple syrup in each year of operation. My background in engineering has come in handy with all the equipment it takes to run a large scale maple operation.

Hailee was our tour guide, and she was very knowledgeable about the process of extracting maple from the trees and how it is processed from there. She also was nice enough to let our dog Mia participate in the first half of the tour outside. we tried their maple syrup and maple syrup products, and they were all delicious. I especially likes the maple syrup candy.
