What you'll do

We introduce you to our small natural family Farm with a tour of the vineyards and olive groves. We show you what’s growing in our vegetable garden according to the season, then we gather eggs in the chicken coop and say hello to our sheep (you'll be lucky to feed them). We take you through our cellars where we produce wine and our old oil mill where we made olive oil.
Depending on the season, you may see different processes of our farm production, from the cheese making, to the grapes harvest and wine making, to the olives picking. All followed by three different wine tastings paired with our cheese, our olives, freshly baked bread dowsed in extra virgin olive oil. Everything we grow and produce in a natural way.

Ciao
We are Carlotta and Stefano working together.
Stefano is the old farmer and the owner of Santa Cristina a Pancole's farm. He's worked here since 1980 when he started the production of wine and olive oil in a natural way.
I'm Carlotta. Living in London for 2 years I realized that it didn't fit me and I decided to come back to Italy to improve my knowledge in food and agriculture.
So I follow my dreams and I started working in the farm, helping Stefano making wine and olive oil, but especially with the sheep and the cheese production.

Great Experience! The farm is family ran in which a lot of personal time from Carlotta and her family who have invested each day to make it successful. The knowledge and insight of the day to day operations from the planting, harvesting of olives and grapes to milking of the sheep for fresh cheese was an amazing experience to learn, see and understand the process of it all. She also provided a tasting of the wines and cheese that they make. Highly recommend this tour if you’re in the area.

We had a great morning with Carlotta and Guido, exploring their farm, meeting the dogs and feeding the sheep, learning about the winemaking, and enjoying a great lunch of bread, cheese, honey, olive oil, olives, garlic, and wine in a beautiful location. It was an interesting time to be in Italy and we learned about how small farmers are being impacted by the coronavirus situation - we hope things get better soon! Thank you for a lovely morning.
