What you'll do

The perfect socially distanced experience for the whole family. Reduced group sizes of six allows for a safe and fun time for all. Private group tours also available for any number of people within your pod.

This breathtaking 2 mile walking tour of San Francisco's hidden stairways is the #1 rated Airbnb Experience in the Bay Area, loved by both locals and tourists alike.

See gorgeous mosaic tiled steps and hear the stories behind them, then take in stunning 360° views of the Golden Gate Bridge, Golden Gate Park and downtown San Francisco. You'll also discover beautiful neighborhoods and gardens that many locals are not aware of and that tourists rarely see.
Oh, and you might even go home with a succulent!
I'll provide commentary, context and some history along the way.

Generally SF is dry May-October. There can be fog in the summertime, mostly in the morning. Temps rarely above 70F (21C) or below 50F (10C). Rain may cancel.

Guests should be reasonably fit. Though we don't cover many miles, some of the terrain is steep. It will be necessary to carry small children as strollers are not suitable. If you bring a guest that’s under 18, it’s your responsibility to make sure the activities they participate in are age-appropriate.

I'm a native Irishman but a 20 year resident of San Francisco who adores my adopted city and loves showing it off to locals and tourists alike.

A former marathon runner, I know the city's best views but now prefer a more moderate hike on gorgeous stairs! This walk is done at a leisurely pace & suitable for most people.

Great tour - not just of the stairways - but Greg added SF history of the area and of landmarks. Excellent way to see the Sunset part of San Fran - and the views are amazing from the top of Turtle Hill!

Great experience! We had a lot of fun seeing lesser known stairways and learned a lot about San Francisco in the process. The entire trip was interactive and felt very safe during Covid. Highly recommend

Greg was a wonderful guide, very personable and knowledgeable. Takes care to include participants into the experience and the succulents at the end were a sweet touch, nice way to continue to enjoy the day. I was flying in just shortly before the start and had questions; Greg responded quickly and was accommodating. Thanks for a fun experience!

Greg gave us an amazing tour of some beautifully tiled staircases, and provided us with tons of interesting information about them as well as about the city. He had pictures and videos to add to the experience, as well as personal stories about the artists and the creation of the mosaics. He also took some really great pictures for us throughout the tour, and recommended a few awesome restaurants in the area. Highly recommend this experience!!
