What you'll do
Come and discover what it takes to make a cup of coffee as you journey through the scenic views the coffee farm has to offer. From the seedling bed to the fermentation tanks, drying beds, the mill, and the roasting of the co ffee beans, we will provide all the intricate details on how to produce a cup of coffee and all that it entails.
My husband and I have lived on the coffee farm for over 20 years where we have raised our 3 children. He runs the day to day operations of the family coffee farm and has a passion for coffee which has rubbed on me. I am passionate about local tourism, so how best to combine the two than to host coffee lovers from all over the world to experience one of Kenya's best exports.
Cup of coffee We'll provide a cup of coffee and a small bite.

Where you'll be
We'll go on an excursion of Mbumi Coffee Estate, starting from the nursery to give an in-depth understanding of the coffee maturing stages. Then we'll show you how our coffee cherries are picked, washed, dried and milled. You will roast your own coffee and carry it you. You are welcome to purchase our coffee as well. Afterwards, you'll be able to enjoy a cup of home made coffee at our rooftop sitting area with picturesque views of the farm.
