What you'll do

VEGAN OPTIONS

Great for PRIVATE GROUPS and TEAM BUILDING EVENTS. Private groups can REQUEST TIMES AND DATES which don't appear on the calendar. I have dates daily until July.
Reach out if you HAVE MORE THAN 30 GUESTS.

Private classes can request A DELICIOUS MINCED MEAT OR TEMPEH COCONUT CURRY

I work out a lot and try to eat as healthy as possible, but it can get dull as broccoli and chicken can be tasteless and repetitive.

In this class, I will teach you how to quickly cook, tasty and healthy food using herbs and spices which I learnt living in Asia for 9 years and growing up in a Chinese household.
We will cook a Ginger Chicken Stir-Fry and a mince Salad (Larb inspired). But mostly, I will give you tips on how to swap ingredients according to what you might have in your fridge to be able to cook flavorful dishes in a few minutes with a few main spices and herbs while swapping your carbs, proteins and veggies as you like.

Let's turn that boring healthy lunch box into something you'd serve to friends on a Saturday night.
This has helped me reach my fitness goals without the frustration.

I'm not a nutritionist, just a person who feels passionate about fitness, travels, food and great farm products.

My home and this experience is a place of tolerance, positivity, inclusiveness and joy.

Hi, My name is Chris and I'm a Parisian writer and cook. I have been a superhost for years and had the luck to host hundreds of people here in my apartment in Paris.
I was fortunate enough to spend 11 years abroad, mostly in China where my step mother is from, she taught me how to cook Chinese food. I've also traveled the world and many wonderful hosts have allowed me to stay in their homes.
I'm doing this experience because I have always loved cooking, this is a family passion, everyone in my family is a great cook and I've learnt from my mother from a young age to make up my own recipes.

Through my travels, I've learnt to cook incredible dishes, taught from the street food vendor down my house in Shanghai, friends in Mexico, cooking classes in Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Sri Lanka, Indonesia and so many other places.

One of my favorite authors, when asked what he thought young people should do with their lives, responded: "the most daring thing, is to create stable communities in which the terrible disease of loneliness can be cured." I've thought about this line many times over the past year, as those communities we’ve been working to create have been put through the test of a global pandemic.      There's something in sharing a meal together that is core to my experience of community, and I suppose I must admit I was a bit skeptical when my friend suggested the idea of an online group cooking experience, but once we got going, chatting with everyone while we were all cooking, it made me realize how much I was missing this particular aspect of our shared lives, throughout a year of social distancing and isolation. Of course, it's not exactly the same as when we will eventually all be able to have a meal together. But having it online also meant we got to invite Christopher into our kitchens all the way from Paris, and we were able to invite so many old friends, from around the globe, as we all worked to get through this pandemic the only way we can, together.

This was such a fun experience! The food came out delicious, and we learned a few good tips. It was the highlight of our week! I would definitely recommend this experience to other foodies.

Christopher’s class was engaging and accessible! Totally fun for all experience levels! My husband and I are novices, though some of our friends are quite skilled in the kitchen, and we all had helpful takeaways, a full belly, and lovely memories by the end of class! His recipe is fail proof; as unprepared and unskilled as we are in the kitchen, the resulting meal made in the class was still amazing! Sure to become a part of the regular repertoire!

I'm intimidated by cooking, so Christopher was the ideal instructor! He made things fun and easy, and was a great storyteller throughout the lesson. The recipes for our dishes turned out so delicious. His encouragement and charisma really translated well through Zoom, too! Thank you for a memorable experience.

Chris was very friendly and kept conversation flowing so it was fun for everyone. We are experienced in the kitchen, but the dishes we cooked were surprisingly easy and very delicious!

Chris is a great host and engages with everyone throughout the experience. It felt like we were in his kitchen with him preparing a healthy meal to share.
