What you'll do

Enjoy a day of discoveries by visiting a ghost town, learn a little of local history and then relaxing in Hot Spring.

Get ready to travel to the border of Nuevo León and Coahuila, first we are going to drive 40 miles up northwest to visit the municipality of Mina until we get to "La Hacienda del Muerto" this is a colonial building abandonned in the middle of the desert creating a real atmosphere of ghost town. Having the opportunity to make great pictures, with Sierra del Muerto as background part of amazing mountain range of Sierra Madre Oriental. Enjoy to be away just for a little from the hustle and bustle of city life.

We will move then 6 miles further to arrive to "La Hacienda de Icamole" where a relevant war of Mexican history happened that gave the name of "El lloron de Icamole" to Porfirio Diaz after his troops were defeated in this place. Let's discover together the old "Hacienda de Icamole" also known as "Hacienda del lloron de Icamole" a XIX century building guarded by his owner Mr Luis and his companion dogs. Be prepare to see real unexpected things in here!

Let's continue our trip 12 miles ahead to "Las Termas de San Joaquin" crossing the border of Nuevo Leon state and enter to Coahuila state. We are about to feel the purifying and healing power of its hot spring.

We will drive back to Monterrey 50 miles to finish our trip at the meeting point.

Rosendo fue súper atento desde el principio! Totalmente accesible pues me recogieron en el aeropuerto y así evite ir hasta el centro de MTY :) El termal es excelente si planeas pasar un día relajante y de conexión contigo mismo.
