What you'll do
We’ll walk around Ostiense, a vibrant neighborhood known as the Street Art District of Rome to let you having a close look at street art pieces from worldwide renowned artists (ex. Blu and Roa), revealing the hidden messages of their works.
Participants have the chance to hear about the artists and their specific techniques, while exploring fascinating spots in a post-industrial area.
The opportunity is to discover the contemporary and past history of this colorful part of the city with a local street art expert.
Be ready to walk in any weather. Wear comfortable shoes and don't forget your camera!

My name is Sara and I’m an urban art lover, born and raised in Rome. I founded Rovescio three years ago, a no-profit cultural organization committed to promoting and spreading the culture of street art. We are also insiders of the Roman urban art scene supporting local and international street artists.
With Flaminia, Arianna e Roberta, who joined me in driving the tours, we share everyday knowledge and passion for street art. And that’s the true secret: we love it!

Where you'll be
We’ll gather in the heart of Testaccio, an authentic roman neighborhood. From there we will begin our journey across the streets of the Ostiense Street Art District up to the historic area of Garbatella. The history of these places was a source of inspiration for many artists, who then decided to leave their mark here. And now it's easy to see how art gave new life and broader horizons to the urban environment of this neighborhood.
