What you'll do
‘Adaptive Yoga’ is designed to make yoga accessible to more people. Especially those who have injuries, limitations, disabilities or those who are elderly. The class is entirely seated, so all ages and abilities, are welcome. The practice will incorporate elements from both yoga and dance. We will start with smaller movements and gradually build up to fluid sequences to develop grace and ease of movement . We’ll end with a few minutes of meditation on the natural breath to bring space and clarity to the mind. This is a judgment-free-zone and you are encouraged to go at your own pace! Each session can be 'adapted' to suit your requirements, and abilities, so you’ll find yourself enjoying exercise – at the level you truly need. 50% of my fee is being donated to the GoFundMe campaign, Adaptive Yoga LIVE, a fitness initiative launched for the disabled community during COVID-19 to help reduce stress during self-isolation.

Hi! I’m Karen. I worked as a professional dancer, dance teacher, choreographer and personal trainer for 25 years. I've been teach yoga , which I love, for the last 15 years. I’m a Senior Yoga Teacher (Yoga Alliance Professionals), Accredited Sports Yoga Coach (Sports Yoga UK), Teacher of Meditation (Traditional Yoga), and I’m specially trained in Adaptive Yoga for Disability (Mind & Body Connections Europe). Helping people to a fitter, healthier, lifestyle has been my passion for more than 30 years. I live in London with my daughter and our cat ‘Panther’. I love dance, Greece, and Liverpool Football Club!

Things to keep in mind
Any experience can be canceled and fully refunded within 24 hours of purchase, or at least 7 days before the experience starts.
Always communicate through Airbnb. To protect your payment, never transfer money or communicate outside of the Airbnb website or app.
You’ll need an internet connection and the ability to stream audio and video to participate. A link and details on how to join will be included in your booking confirmation email. Up to 8 guests ages 18 and up can attend.
