What you'll do

I will be teaching guests how to make a show stopping brunch that you can whip up in under an hour. We'll be making a Dutch baby, a beautiful and surprisingly simple pancake that puffs up in the oven. It's a great base for sweet or savory topping.

First, we'll go over the ingredients, along with some cooking tips and tricks. Next, we'll make the Dutch baby together. While the Dutch baby bakes in the oven, I'll answer questions and show guests how to make a quick topping. At the end of the class, we'll eat together.

Alexis is a gracious host. She was very patient and friendly. Making the dish was easy with her guidance. I’d like to cook with her again.

Alexis deftly maneuvered our entire family through the creation of a delicious culinary treat! The friendly and welcoming atmosphere she created--peppered with helpful hints not only on the preparation of our Dutch Babies, but also on a broad range of cooking topics--left the team educated and inspired (and in need of a early afternoon post-brunch nap). We'd take another one of her cooking classes anytime.

Alexis was so engaging and warm and made everyone feel so welcome. She clearly went thru each step and explained along the way the whys and hows of the recipe She was interested in everyone in the class and asked lots of questions to get to know us and make sure that we were all following along. Lovely smile and great laugh -really great time and wonderful value!

I signed up to do this experience with my 4yo daughter who has become a huge super fan of Chef Alexis! Alexis was warm and welcoming and really engaged everyone in the class, including and especially the littlest attendee! She was knowledgeable and passionate about her craft and really made a virtual cooking experience feel very personal!

Alexis is a chef on the rise, but she made us all feel like friends gathered to have fun, drink and try a new recipe together. It was extra special because of the small group size and the fact that the recipe had special meaning for Alexis.
